Should you get her, you’ll have a great time, guaranteed.★Welcome to Honkai Impact subreddit!★ 1. You certainly can play her as a hypercarry, but just know that she’s going to be worse than a plethora of other options in that scenario.Īs an AoE unit, Himeko does very well in the right situations. She makes for a fantastic supporting cast member, but is unlikely to ever truly stand out as a dedicated damage dealer for your team. Her multipliers are just not high enough to have a meaningful impact against lone foes, especially if they’re particularly tough Elites or Bosses. However, Himeko’s greatest limiting factor is her pure single-target performance. This is already a huge benefit to have, as damage over time effects act as a very consistent and reliable source of damage, but it also synergises fantastically with her A4, which lets her skill deal 20% more damage to enemies that are currently afflicted with Burn.Īs if that wasn’t good enough already, A6 grants Himeko a permanent crit rate boost of 15% so long as her current hp percentage is at or above 80%, which when combined with the previous two traces causes Himeko to scale extremely well, and she becomes one of the best general use damage dealers in the game. Himeko’s traces offer very significant boosts to her overall performance, and can really make her shine in her intended role as an AoE damage dealer.Ī2 will allow any and all of Himeko’s attacks to have a 50% base chance of applying a Burn damage over time debuff to all enemies hit for 2 turns, with the Burn itself dealing 30% of Himeko’s ATK at the start of each turn. However, the energy refund is something of a bait it’s nice if it happens, but it’s pretty much only going to happen against low-tier enemies, and holding off using her ultimate to try and gamble on getting the energy refund will ironically probably make you lose more energy than you’d get from the refund. 'Life is full of all kinds of emotions, not knowing what the future holds thats happiness. So no, I dont think Himeko is a bad character. Her ultimate deals aoe damage to all foes on the field, and as mentioned previously, refunds energy upon scoring a kill with it, 5 per enemy. Personally I think Himeko works the best when you have other teammates that can help break things often to trigger victory rush, even better if the boss itself is weak to fire. This is where the damage can really rack up depending on the scenario in AoE scenarios this talent has the potential to be thrown out very frequently, dealing huge amounts of damage for no cost, and even in single-target scenarios, stronger foes will grant more stacks to Himeko, allowing her talent to still find use. Himeko gains extra stacks based on the size of the enemy’s toughness shield, instantly filling 3 stacks against bosses. When an enemy has their weakness broken, Himeko gets a stack, and at 3 stacks, she will automatically launch a follow-up attack after any ally next attacks, consuming all stacks. It’s particularly useful to use in AoE situations because of Himeko’s talent. Himeko’s skill is a blast AoE, dealing good damage mainly to a single target and also some damage to adjacent foes. Himeko thrives less in single-target scenarios, but she still more than holds her own as a generalist unit. ![]() Himeko is a predominantly aoe-focused unit, able to deal damage to 3+ enemies pretty consistently, and has an ultimate that has a built-in energy refund on scoring kills, making her quite good at dealing with adds and surrounding enemies, often defeating entire waves of them on her own. Himeko is a great damage dealer that holds her own for many encounters, especially in AoE situations where she just annihilates her foes.
